Editor Judy Fleagle
Judy graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in Elementary Education, and a minor in English. She spent 22 years teaching first and second grades in California and 21 years as a staff writer and editor at Oregon Coast and Northwest Travel magazines published in Florence, Oregon, where she resides.
Since retiring, she has continued as a freelance writer and editor. She co-authored Crossings: McCullough's Coastal Bridges, in 2010. She has also written a memoir of her parents’ lives, Chuck and Jean: the Interesting Years, published in 1992.

Editor Burney Garelick
Burney has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in English from the University of Michigan. She was an English instructor at Memphis State University, and has held a variety of positions in publishing, including typesetting and graphic arts, editing, writing of press releases, features and local color pieces.
She has written for the San Francisco Chronicle and Examiner, and for various newsletters and magazines. She presently does research, writing and layout for Arts & Entertainment, the weekly entertainment section of the Siuslaw News and Newport News Times, in Florence and Newport, Oregon, specializing in music, art and theater reviews.

Social Media Networking - Tyron and Lisa Georgiades
This dynamic duo uses their “social savvy” to promote our Porthole Publications, Bookstore and authors on the web. Born and raised in South Africa, this couple came to Oregon in 2006, where they took up the positions of Youth and Worship Pastors until 2011 when they returned to their homeland.
Tyron studied Christian Theology at the Cornerstone Christian College in Cape Town and continued his studies in Oregon, becoming a Licensed AG Minister. He is in the process of setting up a partnership with a local business owner in the Pet Industry in the Western Cape.
Lisa has studied Musical Theatre and Classical Piano in Cape Town. She has since been involved in various stage productions in Florence, OR as well as using her talents in her local church and is in the process of recording a CD of her original songs.
They have two beautiful children and currently reside in Cape Town, South Africa where they continue their work of advancing our online presence.

Editor Carol Gunderson
Carol was introduced to the editing field as the “designated reader and first critic” of all manuscripts written by her daughter, bestselling author Ellen Gunderson Traylor.
Carol graduated at the top of her class at Watsonville Union High School, Watsonville, CA, in 1943. Carol was the librarian for Bible Standard College (later Eugene Bible College and now New Hope College) in Eugene, Oregon. She was trained in bookkeeping at Eugene Business College, served as bookkeeper at First Baptist Church in Eugene, and Great Life Camps of Waitts Lake, WA.
Carol worked for several years in her daughter's bookstore, Port Hole Books, in Florence, Oregon and Polson, Montana, greeting the public and doing data entry.
Carol compiled a history of Great Life Camps, and wrote a children’s bible survey for her grandsons. She assisted her husband, Herb, for many years as a professor’s wife and co-teacher of Bible classes.
Carol spends countless hours working advanced crossword puzzles and acrostics, keeping her skills with spelling and language sharp and up-to-date.
Carol is an accomplished poet, having written a collection of poems entitled The Morning Porch - Poems and Reflections from a Quiet Heart (Port Hole Publications, 2011).

Graphic Designer Carolyn Nordahl
Carolyn, who has lived in Florence since 1952, has enjoyed art and design since childhood. She studied art throughout her school years and took formal classes at Lane Community College, the University or Oregon, and Portland State College. She taught tole painting for many years and then moved on to oils. She is presently interested in watercolor and displays her work at the Siuslaw News lobby in Florence.
Carolyn has worked as a graphic artist and page designer for the Siuslaw News for 35 years and does the page finish work. She is the cover designer for Port Hole Publications and enjoys the technical issues that are involved in the book publishing process.
Carolyn owns Echo Graphics where she does composition and graphic arts for both off-set and web press operations. She is also the Editor/Publisher for the Siuslaw Alumni Association Newsletter.
Presently Carolyn is finishing her first book, Grandma’s Windowshade: Memories and Recipes from a Northwest Childhood, due for release by Port Hole Publications in 2013. Her book is illustrated in full color with Carolyn's watercolor paintings.
